Mountain Park - Pirates Den - Track 1 Left |
This sound file comes from an actual
8-track tape that was used inside the
attraction which was pirate themed. Each
track played a different piece of audio
which the rider was supposed to hear as
they passed certain parts of the scene.
But because the attraction was in one
large building, it ended up sounding
like a mash of sounds. It is interesting to note that the sounds for this park's pirate attraction actually came from the 1968 Disneyland album "Pirates of the Caribbean" (they even used some of Thurl Ravenscroft's narration and the song Yo Ho (A Pirates Life For Me)) and the 1964 Disneyland album "Chilling Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House".
