In the summer of 2005, Disneyland's Engine Number 5, the Ward Kimball, had it's inaugural ride through the park. This video has recently surfaced of the event. Here, the train leaves the maintenance area and heads for the park.
And then comes the inaugural circle around the park, before opening to the public. Your view is with the engineers, riding in the cab. All aboard!
